The Big Short and Good Profit – Mark Your Calendar for the January 8 First Friday Book Synopsis (yes, on the 2nd Friday)

We had a wonderful session this morning at the December First Friday Book Synopsis. Our synopses of Extreme Ownership and Simple Rules will be available soon on our companion site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com.

For January, 2016, we are meeting on the SECOND FRIDAY of the month, January 8. (We do this only twice a year, January and July — and only when the holiday falls too close to the first Friday).

We have selected two important books. Karl Krayer will present his synopsis of Good Profit. (Good Profit is #7 on the December New York Times Business Books Best-Sellers List). And I will present The Big Short. It was published a few years ago, but with the December release of the movie, this is a good time to re-visit Michael Lewis’ classic narrative about the 2008 financial crisis.
