Here is the October, 2015 New York Times Business Books Best Sellers List – Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers & The Tipping Point sit at the #1 & #10 spots

This is really getting interesting. The October New York Times Business Books Best Sellers list is out, and this month, like so many other recent months, is filled with “long-timers” or “repeat appearances” business books.

In other words, the new business books seem to be having a tough time breaking into this monthly list.

This month begins and ends with Malcolm Gladwell. #1 is his wildly popular book Outliers, and #10 is his first book, The Tipping Point.

And such perennial favorites as Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg are still prominent on this month’s list. And the Freakonomics guys are on this month’s list with their second book, Think Like a Freak.

Among the newer books (published this year) are Elon Musk and Team of Teams. Both of these are excellent, definitely worth reading.

Of the ten books on this month’s list, we have presented synopses of eight at our monthly event in Dallas, the First Friday Book Synopsis. I have presented synopses of seven: Outliers; The Power of Habit; Elon Musk; The Organized Mind; Team of Teams; Think Like a Freak; and The Tipping Point. My colleague Karl Krayer presented Thinking, Fast and Slow.

{Our synopses are available for purchase at our companion web site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com. Each synopsis comes with the audio recording of our presentations, plus our comprehensive, multi-paged, (and well designed, in recent years) handouts. Check them out at 15minutebusinessbooks.com.
