Each month for the First Friday Book Synopsis in Dallas, Karl Krayer and I seek to select two business books that provide valuable insight, transferable principles, food for thought– information worth knowing, information we can use, information that will make us all better as we think about our work and move forward.
We have sought to select such books every month since we first began in April, 1998. And we have presented many books that deserved our selection: Good to Great; Outliers; The Power of Habit; The Advantage; Steve Jobs; Elon Musk; Lean In; Willful Blindness; the list goes on and on…
For the October 2, First Friday Book Synopsis, we believe we have selected two such books, worthy of our attention:
Louder than Words: Harness the Power of Your Authentic Voice by Todd Henry. Portfolio (2015). — Synopsis presented by Karl Krayer
Humans Are Underrated: What High Achievers Know That Brilliant Machines Never Will by Geoff Colvin. Portfolio (2015). – Synopsis presented by Randy Mayeux
You will be able to register soon from the home page of this web site for our October 2 session.
