I’ve Just Put my e-book on Sale – Purchase 12 Vital Signs of Organizational Health for just .99

12_vital_signs_to_organisational_health_2D_coverI’ve just put my e-book, 12 Vital Signs of Organizational Health, on sale for the “holidays, and planning season.”  This short book (just over 50 pages, if in printed form) is ideal to help you think about your planning process for the  coming year.  It walks you through the 12 vital signs, and helps you diagnose, and plan some training events…  I think you will find it valuable, and it is a real bargain at only 99 cents.

Here’s an earlier blog post I wrote about the book:

———————

For fifteen+ years, I have presented synopses of Business Books at the First Friday Book Synopsis – and, within many companies and organizations.  When I started out, I had been a life-long “casual” business book reader.  Now, I am more systematic, more intentional.  And I have read enough good business books, (and a few not-so-good), that I think I’m beginning to understand some of the major “themes” that are repeated, developed, and probed in the business books of this era.

My short e-book 12 Vital Signs of Organizational Health (the equivalent of a 54 page book) is my attempt to share these overarching themes.  I’ve described them as “traits” of organizational health.

Below is a visual representation of the themes/traits that provide a framework for understanding the issues that make up organizational health.  This is not an exhaustive list – others would add more, others might remove a couple from the list.  But, I think if you look at these carefully, you will say – yep, we need to be on top of these pretty consistently.

One business consultant is using this visual in his meetings with executive leadership teams.  I am sharing the visual in some of my presentations.  And, each time I do so, lightbulbs seem to go on for folks.  It really does make sense to them.

I think it is both a “training planning” tool, providing areas to focus on, and a “diagnostic tool,” for identifying and tackling trouble spots and weak spots.

First, on the left portion of the image, there are some critical areas, what I call “assumptions” (“Assuming your organization is effective in these areas” – admittedly, a big assumption.  You’ve got to make sure these are in place — that you are succeeding at each of these, and that you give each consistent and constant attention).  Then, on the right portion of the image,  you will see the traits that make up Organizational Health.  (Start with the middle bubble as the “overarching” trait, then go up to the top left bubble, and work clockwise through the traits).

In my e-book, there is a chapter on each of the 12 Vital Signs.  These chapters are short enough to read aloud in an executive team meeting, and each will provide a great “conversation starter” as you work through the 12 vital sings.

I hope you will take a look at my book.  I think you will find it valuable.
