Coming for the Feb. 1 FFBS – Daniel Pink’s To Sell is Human, and Metaskills for the Robotic Age

We had a wonderful morning together at the January First Friday Book Synopsis.  Karl Krayer presented his synopsis of Heart, Smarts, Guts, and Luck, and I presented my synopsis of Leapfrogging.  Both of these presentations, with audio recordings plus our comprehensive handouts, will be available soon on our companion web site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com.

For the February 1 First Friday Book Synopsis, we have selected two terrific books.

Karl Krayer will present a synopsis of Metaskills: Five Talents for the Robotic Age by Marty Neumeier.

I will present a synopsis of To Sell is Human:  The Surprising Truth about Moving Others, the brand new release by Daniel Pink.  It is unusual for me to start reading a book more than a month in advance for our monthly event, but a new Daniel Pink book is an occasion to “get right to work.”  And, it does not disappoint – this is a terrific book.  And no matter what your job title is, you are in sales!  So, be sure to mark your calendar for this session of the First Friday Book Synopsis.

(By the way, after February 1, I will have read, and presented, four of Daniel Pink’s books:  Free Agent Nation; A Whole New Mind, Drive, and now To Sell is Human.  Mr. Pink is an author that consistently comes through with substantive, thought-provoking books).

You’ll be able to register soon for our event from our web site.

If you are anywhere near the DFW area, come join us on February 1.  Here’s a flier – click on it for a full view, print it out, share it with friends.
