Here is the November, 2012 New York Times Hardcover Business Books Best Sellers List

Here is the November, 2012 list of Best Sellers of Hardcover Business Books.  As I regularly mention, this is the list that I consider the most valuable.  It is not a “one-week snapshot,” as some other lists are, but it looks at the best sellers over an entire month.

And, as always, remember the wisdom of our blogging colleague Bob Morris.  He reminds us that not all best sellers are genuinely worthwhile books, and not all genuinely worhtwhile books make it to the best seller lists.  He is right on both counts.

A couple of observations:  Steve Jobs came out over a year ago, and it is still prominent on this list.  A really good book!  Other books on the list that have continued to be best sellers for an extended time are The Power of Habit; Thinking, Fast and Slow; Switch; Great by Choice.  We have presented all of these at the First Friday book Synopsis, our monthly event in Dallas.

(You can purchase our synopses of these books, with audio recordings plus our comprehensive multi-page handouts, at our companion web site, 15minutebusinessbooks.com).
