Here is the New York Times Business Books Best Sellers List for August, 2014.

This list is updated monthly. Notice the “long-timers” on this month’s list: Outliers; The Power of Habit; Thinking, Fast and Slow. These books continue to provide helpful insight and suggestions for readers.

Of the 10 books on his month’s list, we have presented synopses of 6 of them at our monthly event in Dallas, the First Friday Book Synopsis: Outliers; Think Like a Freak; #GIRLBOSS; The Power of Habit; Thinking, Fast and Slow; and Flash Boys. And, I will present my synopsis of Business Adventures at the September First Friday Book Synopsis. By the way, Business Adventures, originally published in 1969, is already #3 on this list, and it has not even been released yet in its re-issue edition – it is currently available only on Kindle.   (And, I will probably present a synopsis of Capital in a month or two in a “bonus” program).
